So another part of our celebration of Halloween weekend was our dance recital/birthday party, which we combined with Dia de Los Muertos. Dia de Los Muertos is a day in Mexico (and I think other Hispanic countries) where they honor and remember family members and friends who have passed on. Kind-of like a Memorial Day, but in it's own style. We did this dance party on November 1st. We decided it would be really cool to paint our faces like they traditionally do in Mexico, and do our performance that way. It turned out really cool. Anyway, this is Ysabel waiting to perform.

Happy Halloween! Ysabel as the coolest hippy dudette, Isaac as the evil Devil, (and isn't the make-up good, if I do say so myself), Anneliese as a Luchador, (Nacho Libre dude), and little Alex as the cutest little pumpkin you've ever seen. :) Halloween was a fun day, except for Isaac. He had thrown up at school, and had to come home. He missed his class party, but was feeling okay to go trick or treating. He was fine ever since. We went to our ward trunk or treat, and then went around our neighborhood. It was fun!
